Significant Accomplishment  
       
 
Upon the signing and implementation of LOI PAGTUPAD by HCIDG that fixed the required monthly or periodic accomplishments of RCIDUs on Neutralization of Criminal Gangs, Arrest of Most Wanted Persons and Confiscation of Loose Firearms, the requirements were discussed by the Regional Chief with the CIDTs and Tracker Teams. Minimum targets were also set for the said teams.

The accomplishments of CIDTs were monitored strictly by 1RCIDU from the results of a Weekly Program of Action (POA) that was designed by 1RCIDU for the CIDTs to follow. Likewise, regular conferences were held to evaluate the CIDTs’ performance and accomplishments.

Through these efforts, 1RCIDU was able to contribute significantly to the campaign against Criminal Gangs, Most Wanted Persons and Confiscation of Loose Firearms as shown in the details of the accomplishments.

Jennifer A Pilar, Presiding Judge of RTC, FJR, Br 32, Agoo, La Union in CC Nr. A-5856 for Murder with NO Recommended Bailbond. Arrested person is the primary suspect in the killing of Rolando Dumo on March 22, 2011 at San Nicolas Central, Agoo, La Union.
          Subject person is listed as Nr 48 Top Most Wanted Person in the Province of La Union as per authority of DILG Memo Circular Nr. 2011-85 dated June 10, 2011 with Monetary Reward Amounting to Php90,000.00

Reton @ “Ofel”, 32 yrs old, resident of Sitio Madula, Brgy Turod-patac, Cabugao, Ilocos Sur at about 5:30 AM of December 13, 2011 during police operation conducted by joint elements of Ilocos Sur CIDT led by PCI ARBEL C MERCULLO, PIB, Ilocos Sur PPO and Cabugao PS by virtue of Alias W/A issued by Hon. Judge Mario S Domingo of MTC, Cabugao, Ilocos Sur in CC Nr. 4328 for Attempted Murder with recommended bailbond amounting to Php20,000.00 for his temporary liberty.
          Subject person is listed as TMWP in the Municipality of Cabugao, Ilocos Sur as per certification from PIB, Ilocos Sur PPO dated December 13, 201. Investigation further disclosed that the arrested suspect Jofel S. Reton @ “Ofel”, is one of the other unidentified members of “PALECPEC-SINCO” GROUP with their primary criminal activities is Gun-for-Hire and secondarily Gun Running operating in the Province of Ilocos Sur and nearby provinces as per Target List from S2, Ilocos Sur PPO and the Target List of 1RCIDU previously submitted to OMD & ID.

Extension, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur during police operation conducted by joint elements of Ilocos Sur CIDT, Ilocos Sur PPO, Ilocos Sur PPSC, Abra PPO, RIU-14, 503rd Infanbtry Brigade, 5th ID, 41st IB, PA & MICO SPOT 1-3 by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Corpuz B. Alzate, Acting Presiding Judge of RTC, FJR, Br 2, Bangued, Abra dated September 30, 2011 in CC Nr. 2011-125 for Rebellion with NO bailbond recommended.
           Above-named accused is an active member of CNN and acted as Head, Finance Bureau of Ilocos Cordillera Regional Committee (ICRC). She is listed also as Nr. 3 in the ISO OB List of R2, PRO1 for 3rd Quarter 2011.
           Further, subject Gloria Q. Floresca was previously arrested by joint elements of La Union PPO together with the Naval Intelligence and Security Group (NISG) – NL, Baguio City Police Office, 1RCIDU, RIU1, La Union CIDT, LUPPO PIB, Naguilian MPS and LU PPSC at about 12:45 PM of July 21, 2011 at Brgy Ortiz, Naguilian, La Union by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Melanio C. Rojas, Presiding Judge, RTC, Br 25, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur dated June 28, 2011 in CC Nr. 969-T for Rebellion but the case was recently dismissed by the said court.
