ILLEGAL RECRUITER OF MORE THAN 200 VICTIMS ARRESTED THRU CITIZENS' ARREST
Through citizens’ arrest and in coordination with the Anti-Transnational Crime Unit (ATCU) of the CIDG, a 63-year old Osmando Nivero HABILAG, an alleged illegal recruiter who victimized more than 200 individuals, was captured by his own victims at about 7:00 PM, yesterday (August 30, 2016), in front of the McDonald’s Fastfood, Carriedo, Quiapo, Manila.
In an earlier report, PSupt Romeo Merdegia Jr, ATCU Chief said to PCSupt Roel B Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, that on August 24, 2016, more than 50 complainants from Davao City accompanied by Atty. Hanz Leo Cacdac, POEA Administrator and Susan Ople of the Blas Ople Foundation, sought the assistance of the ATCU CIDG against Habilag and a certain Alejandro NAVARRO Jr, business partners of the Bantayog Travel and Tours in Tanza, Cavite.
According to the statements of some victims, Habilag and Navarro started to recruit them since December 2015, to apply for work abroad as butchers and English teachers in Japan, Australia and New Zealand in exchange of money ranging from Php40,000.00 to Php250,000.00 as processing fee. However, no applicants were able to leave and work abroad.
PSupt Merdegia said that upon their verification from the POEA, Bantayog Travel and Tours is not authorized to recruit for work abroad, thus, on August 25, 2016 (Thursday), the detectives of the ATCU-CIDG launched a police operation against the two subject persons in Tanza, Cavite, wherein Navarro has a standing Warrant of Arrest for Estafa, but the operation yielded negative.
The suspect was charged for violations of RA 8042 (Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act) and Revised Penal Code Art. 315 (Estafa), while continues manhunt operation is being conducted to track down the whereabouts of Navarro.
COUNCIL WOMAN AND 2 OTHERS NABBED IN CIDG’s ONE-DAY POLICE OPERATION
Three individuals including a Brgy. Councilor were collared in separate police operations launched by the detectives of CIDG on Monday (August 29, 2016) in Ilocos Norte, Zambales, and Oriental Mindoro.
In Brgy. Victoria, Currimao, Ilocos Norte, one Ronel AGLIPAY was apprehended at around 8:30 AM, by the detectives of Ilocos Norte CIDG, together with Currimao MPS during a buy-bust operation. Confiscated from his possession and control were one sachet of shabu and marked money. PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, the Regional Chief of CIDG-1 said that Aglipay is listed as the No. 1 Drug Personality of Currimao MPS.
Meanwhile, at about 4:30 PM, a man who is listed as the No. 3 Drug Personality of Olongapo City Police Office and No. 9 Drug Personality of Zambales CIDG, was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) in Brgy. Baretto, Olongapo City, Zambales. PSupt Edwin Quilates, 3RCIDG Regional Chief identified the suspect as Ariel SORIANO, who is wanted for three counts of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) violations and is also a member of the “Salimar Barazar Group”.
While at around 7:01 PM in Brgy. Libis, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro, joint elements of CIDG-4B and Calapan City Police Station, arrested Lorna MACAN, incumbent Brgy. Councilor of that Brgy during a buy-bust operation. Confiscated from her possession were eight sachets of shabu and marked money. Macan is listed as High-Value Target (HVT) Drug Personality, said PSupt Zacarias Noel Villegas, CIDG-4B Regional Chief to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director. Cases for violation of RA 9165 were filed against Aglipay and Macan. All arrested person are now detained at the detention facilities of the arresting CIDG offices.
CASINO PAWNEE AND 3 OTHER ARRESTED IN CIDG’s POLICE OPERATION
At about 11:30 PM on Wednesday (August 24, 2016), joint elements of the Quezon City CIDG and AFP personnel led by PCInsp Niño Lope Briones arrested one Evelyn TOGONON at the City of Dreams Hotel and Casino, Asiana corner Macapagal, Brgy. Tambo, Paranaque City.
42-year old Togonon was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for Estafa, issued by Hon. Danilo S Cruz, Judge, RTC Br 152, Pasig City. PSSupt Belli Tamayo, Regional Chief of CIDG-NCR, said to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, that Togonon has other warrants in Cebu, Iloilo and Davao for the same case. The suspect is known to accept pawns from casino players, added PSSupt Tamayo. Tonogon is currently detained at the NCRCIDG detention facility. Meanwhile, early morning of Friday (7:45 AM of August 26, 2016), a 51-year old businessman was collared by members of the Batangas CIDG, together with the Batangas PPO during the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW) in Purok 2, Brgy. Pinagbayanan, Taysan, Batangas City.
Regional Chief of CIDG-4A, PSSupt Rex Anongos, identified the suspect as Brigido VILLENA y Alcantara a.k.a. “Dong” who was arrested for possession of one calibre .45 pistol, a calibre 5.56 rifle, several magazines, and assorted ammunition. Villena will be charge for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act). Still in Taysan, Batangas, combined elements of NCR-CIDG and CIDG based in Batangas, implemented two SWs for violation of RA 10591 against Placido ARIOLA, Michael BRIVA and Felix CARPIO that resulted to their arrest, this morning (August 26, 2016), at 6:00 AM. Seized during the operation were a calibre .9mm and calibre .45 pistol with magazines, and several ammunition. PSSupt Anongos added Briva is also wanted for violation of RA 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act).
SOUTHERN TAGALOG HVT PERSONALITY AND 2 OTHERS CAPTURED BY CIDG
Three (3) men including a High-Value Target (HVT) were collared during police operations launched by the members of the CIDG in Regions 1, 4A, and 7 on Tuesday (August 23, 2016).
At around 6:00 AM, a certain Vilmo VERGARA was arrested by combined elements of Pangasinan CIDG, Laoac MPS, Tayug PPSC, Pangasinan PPO, and PDEA-R1 during the implementation of a Search Warrant in Brgy Poblacion, Laoac, Pangasinan.
The searching team was able to confiscate from Vergara two sachets of suspected shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia. PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, Regional Chief of CIDG-1 said that Vergara is listed as the No. 2 Target Personality on the Drug Watchlist of Laoac MPS.
While, at 7:00 PM of the same date, a buy-bust operation was launched by the members of the Quezon CIDG that resulted in the arrest of one Carl Amiel Ladiana REYES a.k.a. “Amiel Umbra” or “Avatar” and the seizure of one sachet of suspected shabu, three sachets of marijuana leaves, and marked money.
In a report submitted to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, the CIDG Acting Director, PSSupt Rex Anongos, Regional Chief of CIDG-4A said that Reyes is tagged as HVT in Quezon. Vergara and Reyes were charged for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act).
Meanwhile at about 1:35 PM, a man who is wanted for Murder was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) by the manhunt team of CIDG-7, together with Toledo City Police Station in Sitio Ocyo, Brgy. Das, Toledo City. PSSupt Marlon Tayaba, CIDG-7 Regional Chief identified the suspect as Harold EDQUILANG, who is listed as the Top Most Wanted Person (TMWP) of Toledo CPS.
HIGH-VALUE TARGET DRUG PUSHER AND 3 OTHERS NABBED BY CIDG
A High-Value Target (HVT) drug pusher and one other were captured during the conduct of a buy-bust operation by joint team from Cavite CIDG, Cavite PPO, and Bacoor CPS, on Friday (August 19, 2016), at about 11:00 PM in Brgy Zapote1, Bacoor City, Cavite. One Allan RAMIREZ y Silla a.k.a. “Hayuk” and Ariel TEMPORAL y Alejandro a.k.a. “Totie” were caught while in the act of selling seven sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 5.8 g with an estimated value amounting to more than Php17,000.00 to an undercover police. PSSupt Rex Anongos, Regional Chief, 4A-CIDG said to PCSupt Roel Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, that Ramirez is listed as drug pusher in the Drug Watchlist Personalities in Bacoor City, Cavite.
Meanwhile, at about 5:00 PM of August 20, 2016 (Saturday), members of the Cavite CIDG, together with the Cavite PPO and Imus CPS arrested one Ferdinand GONZALES y Salintes a.k.a. “Suwabe” during the busy-bust operation in Brgy Alapan 1A, Imus City, Cavite. Gonzales, who is listed in the Drug Watchlist of Imus City, Cavite, was arrested for selling three sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 5.4 g amounting to Php16200.00 to a poseur buyer.
While, a drug group member was apprehended by the Rizal CIDG, together with Rizal PIB in an anti-drug police operation on August 21, 2016 (Sunday), at 1:10 PM at Sitio Taguisan, Cogeo Avenue, Brgy. Bagong Nayon 1, Antipolo City, Rizal. Confiscated from Sergio Anthony ENION y Daprosa a.ka. “Dong”, who is a member of the “Bentot Drug Group”, were two sachets of shabu weighing MOL 0.2 g with a street value amounting to Php1000.00, and the marked money.
All arrested persons were charged for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) and now detained at the CIDG detention facility.
CIDG DIRECTOR ANSWERS ALLEGATIONS ON KIDNAPPING INCIDENT IN BULACAN
In the afternoon of August 18, 2016 (4:00 PM of Thursday), at the CIDG Conference Room, Camp CRame, Quezon City, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, the CIDG Acting Director, responded to all inquiries hurled by the media about the alleged involvement of members of the CIDG in Bulacan in the kidnapping of a businessman in Meycauayan, Bulacan on Monday (August 15, 2016).
In his statement, PCSupt Obusan said that he is not denying or affirming the allegation being stated in the newspaper, however, the CIDG is being maligned by this accusation and as the unit commander, he has the holding duty to clean his ranks and so, all the personnel of Bulacan CIDG from the officers down to the non-officers, and non-uniformed personnel were called for questioning. He (Obusan) said that even if he close or disband the said CIDG unit in order to clean his ranks, he will do so, but for now, an investigation is being conducted. He further said that the CIDG in Bulacan has no operation wherein the subject kidnap victim was involved. But there was an operation conducted by the Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) as lead unit.
The AKG is conducting investigation on this matter and the CIDG will not give any names until the investigation is released, added PCSupt Obusan.
ILLEGAL DRUG GROUP MEMBER NEUTRALIZED IN BUY-BUST OPERATION

A drug group member was killed in an encounter with the members of the CIDG based in Camarines Norte, together with the agents of RAIDSOTG-SOU5, Labo MPS, PPSC, and PIB of that province during the
conduct of an anti-illegal drugs operation on Saturday (August 13, 2016), at about 11:15 PM in Brgy. Masalaong, Camarines Norte.
Suspect Rommel LUMINARIO y Mariano a.k.a. "Omeng", sensed that he was transacting with an undercover police, drew his gun and tried to shoot
at the said police. The said police was able to grapple on Luminario's gun and shoot him once. The authorities rushed to back-up the undercover police until the suspect was neutralized.
Recovered at the crime scene were ten sachets of suspect shabu, a calibre .38 revolver loaded with ammunition, and a Php500.00 bill.
PSSupt Marlon Tejada, the Regional Chief of 5RCIDG said in his report to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, Acting CIDG Director, that Luminario, who is a member of the "Dadi Mariano Drug Group", is listed as Drug Personality
and the No. 1 Lambat-Sibat Target in Labo, Camarines Norte.
The PNP Crime Laboratory SOCO processed the crime scene, while the seized evidences were at the office of the CIDG for disposition.
Meanwhile, a 53-year-old man, who is wanted for Murder, was arrested by the combined elements of Misamis Oriental CIDG and Philippine Army during the conduct of police operation in Sitio Dungoan, Brgy.

TOP LEVEL DRUG LORD IN REGION 8 NEUTRALIZED BY CIDG

At about 4:30 AM today (August 11, 2016), a top level drug lord in Region 8 was neutralized during the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW) for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act),
conducted by the CIDG based in Region 8 together with the Region 8 Maritime Group, RAID-SOTG, and RPSB-PRO8 in Abuyog Penal Colony, Leyte.
PSupt Marvin Marcos, the Regional Chief of Region 8 CIDG, identified the subject as Edgar Allan ALVAREZ y Enriquez alias "Egay", a 45-year old, native of San Pablo, Laguna and currently detained at the said penal
colony for the crimes of Kidnapping-for-Ransom, Murder, and Direct Assault which he was serving his sentence since 2007.
In a report submitted to PCSupt Roel B Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, during the implementation of the said SW, Alvarez tried to brawl with the police operatives by throwing a hand grenade, however the grenade
did not exploded. This prompted the police to fire at him that caused his immediate death.
PSupt Marcos added that, Alvarez and the leader of Colangco Group were both in the same level in drug trading.
The SW was issued by Judge Janet Cabaluna of Branch 33, RTC Calbiga, Samar. Recovered from the crime scene were unidentified amount of suspected shabu, one big pack of dried marijuana leaves, a .45 caliber,
a .38 caliber, and a hand grenade.
The search was witnessed by the jail guards and Brgy. Kagawads of the said Barangay. The PNP SOCO Crime Laboratory in Region 8processed the crime scene. xxx
HIGH VALUE TARGET KILLED FOR PEDDLING ILLEGAL DRUGS

Today (August 4, 2016), at about 2:50 AM, detectives of the CIDG Pangasinan, together with the PRO1, Pangasinan PPO, RSOTG, and Calasiao PS, launched a buy-bust operation at Brgy. Banaoang, Calasiao,
Pangasinan that resulted in the neutralization of SPO1 Randy BANDONG y Ferrer.
PSSupt Amando Lagiwid, the Regional Chief of CIDG Region 1, said in his report to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, that Bandong, upon sensing that he was transacting with an undercover police officer,
drew his gun and fired towards the police operatives, hitting instead the Calasiao PS patrol car. This prompted the operating team to retaliate and hitting Bandong.
The subject person was brought to the Dagupan Hospital and was declared dead on arrival (DOA) by the attending physician.
Bandong, a member of the Umingan Police Station, was a level two High Value Target (HVT) and a priority target of the CIDG Pangasinan, added PSSupt Lagiwid.

Jr. y Iwayan a.k.a. "Jun", on Wednesday (August 3, 2016), at around 11:35 PM.
Debalocos, a 54-year-old caretaker of the PHIL Estate Property, was arrested for direct possession, control and custody of one KG9 pistol, a calibre .45 pistol, colt. 45, several magazines, assorted ammunition,
and a silencer, said the Regional Chief of CIDG Region 10, PSupt Tom Tuzon.
The arrested person was charged for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act). xxx
LENDING COMPANY CREWS BUSTED IN MANILA OPERATION
August 5, 2016
Yesterday afternoon (August 4, 2016 at about 5:30 PM), a female collection officer and nine others were arrested by the members of the CIDG Anti-Transnational Crime Unit (ATCU) during an entrapment operation
at Unit D, 5th Floor, MARC 200 Tower, Taft corner Quirino Avenue, Metro Manila.
In his report to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, PCInsp Roque Merdegia Jr, OIC of ATCU, identified the female suspect as Alexandra Dassel BALAGTAS, 39 years old and the collection officer of
the 8 Carat Cash and Credit Company. She was arrested after receiving the marked money from one of the complainants.
Also arrested was Yu Chao-Lai, a Taiwanese and General Manager of the said lending company.
The operation was in response to the complaints lodged by four complainants who requested for police assistance to the CIDG.
Accordingly, the complainants were applying for work in Taiwan as beauticians and care takers through One World Recruitment Agency and later, changed its name to First Champion Recruitment Agency. The
applicants were required to have flight tickets and visa which is processed by a certain Rebecca Ablao, top employee of said recruitment agency.
In the investigation conducted by the CIDG revealed that the lending company and the recruitment agency is a tie-up company, whose modus operandi is to have the recruits or applicants to apply for a loan at
the 8 Carat Cash and Credit Company for the processing fee.
The investigator-on-case added it was further alleged that for those applicants who have plans to back-out or discontinue their applications for abroad, were required to visit the said lending company, whose
alleged owner is one Kevin Lin, also a broker for recruitment in Taiwan, to retrieve their documents in exchange for Php20,000.00.
Prior verification from the POEA, 8 Carat Cash and Credit Company is not authorized to recruit workers for development abroad.
All arrested persons were appraised of their constitutional rights and were charged for violation of RA 8042 (Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act).

The leader of the "Silvestre Motornapping Group" was captured during a manhunt operation launched by the combined elements of the CIDG Bulacan, HPG Bulacan, PIB Bulacan, and Sta. Maria Police Station, on Tuesday
afternoon (August 2, 2016 at 1:00 PM), in Kaybihin, Brgy. San Gabriel, Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
Armed with a Warrant of Arrest (WOA), the manhunt teams arrested Joel SILVESTRE y Marquez, an 18-year-old man who is wanted for Carnapping.
PSupt Edwin Quilates, Acting Regional Chief of CIDG Region 3, said in his report to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director, that Silvestre's group is a known criminal group in Bulacan.
Meanwhile, in Brgy. Sumabnit, Binalonan, Pangasinan, a 49-year-old female was collared by the detectives of the CIDG Pangasinan, together with Binalonan PS and Pangasinan PPO, on August 2, 2016 (Tuesday), at
PSupt Quilates identified the suspect as Lita BALLESTEROS y Vergara, who has five alias WOAs: one for Large Scale Illegal Recruitment and four counts for Estafa. The suspects also have three WOAs for Illegal
Recruitment and Estafa.
Both suspects are now in custody of the CIDG and undergone the booking processes. xxx
BULACAN'S MOST WANTED ARRESTED FOR ARSON

A 44-year old man who is wanted for Arson was arrested by the members of the Bulacan CIDG, together with the HPG Bulacan, PIB Bulacan, and Bulakan MPS, on Tuesday (August 2, 2016), at 9:30 AM in Brgy Poblacion 2,
The arrested person, who is identified as Enrico RAMOS y Alday a.k.a. "Rico" or "Anga" is tagged as the No. 5 Municipal Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Bulakan, Bulacan, said PCInsp Marvin Pedere, OIC of CIDG Region
3, to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Acting Director.
Meanwhile, joint elements of the CIDG Agusan Del Sur and Butuan CPO served a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) against one Antonio Seguan ALEGRO who is currently detained at the Butuan City BJMP, Brgy. Libertad, Butuan City on August 1, 2016 (Monday), at about 8:00 PM.
PSupt Agosto Daskeo, Regional Chief of CIDG Region 13 said that 50-year-old Alegro was previously arrested by the CIDG for the same offense, wherein in a background check done by the office, it was revealed that
Alegro has a pending WOA and is an escapee from the Tacloban City BJMP.
In another news, MOL 28.5 g of suspected shabu with an estimated value amounting to more than Php250,000.00 were seized by the CIDG operatives based in Davao Del Sur, together with Digos CPS, Davao Del Sur PPSC, Davao Del Sur PPO, and PDEA Davao Del Sur during a buy-bust operation at the Dannys Hotel, Brgy. Zone 1, Digos City, Davao Del Sur, on August 1, 2016 (Monday) at around 9:55 AM.
The authorities arrested Joenel Mangao ARAÑA and Yeyen Virtudazo GARRIDO. Aside from the suspected shabu, the police also seized a calibre .45 pistol, a calibre .22 revolver, marked money, a cellular phone,
cash, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

In the report of PSSupt Billy Tamayo, Chief, NCR CIDG to PCSupt Roel B Obusan, Acting Director, CIDG, the joint elements composed of NCRCIDG, Region 9 CIDG and NISG-WestMin have successfully arrested the suspect in
the afternoon of July 21, 2016 in Sta Maria, Zamboanga City.
The arrest was effected by virtue of warrant of arrest with Criminal Case Nr 815-3 for 6 counts of Kidnapping and Serious Illegal Detention with Ransom issued by the RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 4, in Parang Sulu.

CIDG UNDERGONE MANDATORY DRUG TESTING

Today, July 22, 2016, the 255 Crame-based members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), from the top officials down to the Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP), undergone the drug testing conducted
by the PNP Crime Laboratory, at the CIDG Headquarter, Camp Crame, Quezon City.
Upon his assumption last July 1, 2016, the CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, had said that there will be a random drug testing to all CIDG members as an act of abiding to the rules and regulations of the
PNP and to assure that his officers and men are not involved in any drug related cases and incidents.
CIDG Acting Director said that this activity is a continuing mandatory requirement for all the PNP members as required by the RA 8551 otherwise known as the Philippine National Police Reform and Reorganization Act
that mandates all PNP personnel to be drug free while performing their duties.
"We are not singling out anybody but this is to show that the CIDG is compliant to the requirements of the PNP. The CIDG is like a family that needs to be kept clean and in order to keep it unsoiled, they need
to clean each member", stated CIDG Acting Director.
"We are hoping that no CIDG personnel will be reported positive in using illegal drugs, but once found positive using the same, I assure that I will implement the RA 8551 and discharged those personnel from the
service", added by PCSupt Obusan.
The drug testing for CIDG personnel will continue and will be performed to all the Regional CIDG Offices. xxx
MAN WANTED FOR 5 CRIMES, KILLED IN ARMED ENCOUNTER

A man who is wanted for five crimes was killed in an encounter with the combined elements of the CIDG Ilocos Sur, Cabugao MPS, PRO1, Maritime Group, San Juan MPS, and Sinait MPS, during the implementation of a
Search Warrant (SW), in the morning of Tuesday (4:00 AM of July 19, 2016) inSitio Padual, Brgy., Pug-os, Cabugao, Ilocos Sur.
Roger SINCO and his group members who were identified as Harry Savellano, Elyrey Agustin, Eric Savellano, and Edgar Basuil, after sensing the authorities, began exchanging gunfire with the police.
Sinco sustained a gunshot wound and was brought to the Duero General Hospital, Ilocos Sur but was declared dead on arrival (DOA) by the Attending Physician. However, Sinco's group managed to escape arrest
boarding two tricycles both without plate numbers.
Recovered from the crime scene were 15 cartridge cases, two calibre .45 pistols loaded with ammunition, a calibre. 38 (paltik) also loaded with ammunition, five sachets of suspected shabu, a magazine, assorted drug
paraphernalia, a cellular phone.

In Tipo-Tipo, Basilan, a member of the Abu Sayaff Group (ASG) was arrested by combined elements of the CIDG Region 9 based in Zamboanga and the Intelligence personnel of Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP),
during a manhunt operation, on Sunday (July 17, 2016), at about 2:20 PM.
Identified as one Hadji Biki ADBDALA a.k.a. "Hadji Hassan", is wanted for nine counts of Murder, said the Regional Chief, PSSupt John Guyguyon to PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, Acting CIDG Director.
Meanwhile, detectives of the CIDG Davao City, together with Hagonoy MPS nabbed Jason SADANGSAL a.k.a. "Jason Val Sadangsal" on the strength of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) on Friday afternoon (July 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM),
along San Pedro St., Davao City.
The authorities said that Sadangsal is wanted for the crime of Rape and is listed as the No. 8 Most Wanted Person (MWP) drug personality in the municipality of Hagonoy, Davao Del Sur.xxx

Station, and HPG Laguna during the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW), early morning today (5:00 AM of July 14, 2016) in Brgy., Banay-Banay, Cabuyao City, Laguna.
In a submitted report to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, the said hard core criminal was identified as one Joselito BATAYO y Lavina. Confiscated from his possession and control were calibre .30, a
calibre .9mm, several magazines, assorted ammunition, a black holster, black bag, 3 sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 10.40 g, and 2 sachets of dried marijuana.
Meanwhile, two homemade 12 gauge shotguns, a magazine, and several cartridges were seized in a police operation launched by combined operatives of the CIDG Bukidnon, Bukidnon PPSC, Bukidnon PAIDSOT, HPG

FEMALE DRUG PEDDLERS ARRESTED IN ILOCOS POLICE OPERATION

Two female drug personalities in Ilocos Norte were captured in a buy-bust operation conducted by the joint operatives of CIDG Ilocos Norte, HPG Ilocos Norte, and Pasuquin Police Station, in coordination with the PDEA PRO1, on Thursday (July 14, 2016), at about 2:30 PM along the national highway of Brgy. Nalvo, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte.
The duo who were identified as Dominga ODAONDO y Oros, 31 years old and Maevenn REYES y Manaoat, 29 years old, were arrested for possession and control of three sachets of suspected shabu, several ammunition, and marked money.
The Regional Chief of CIDG Region 1, PSSupt Angeles Genorga, said to Acting CIDG Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, both arrested persons are under the Drug Watchlist Personalities of Pasuquin wherein Odaondo is listed as the No. 3 Drug Personality in the said Watchlist.
Meanwhile, the CIDG Bulacan detectives, together with the HPG Bulacan, PIB Bulacan, PAIDSOTG, and Plaridel MPS, apprehended one Nicasio BALTAZAR a.k.a. “Junjun” during a buy-bust in So. Dike, Brgy. Banga 2nd, Plaridel, Bulacan on July 14, 2016 (Thursday), at 11:30 AM.
Confiscated from Baltazar’s possession were two sachets of suspected shabu and buy-bust money.
The authorities said that Baltazar is a member of the “Dapdap Connection”, a newly identified criminal gang involved in the drug peddling activities in Plaridel, Bulacan.

CIDG BAGS ITS OWN MAN FOR DRUGS

Before the scheduled simultaneous drug testing for the CIDG personnel, combined elements of the Tacloban City Police Office and the CIDG Region 8, conducted a buy-bust operation against one PO3 Dennis TORREFIEL y Flores, at about 6:00 PM of July 10, 2016 (Sunday), in Brgy., 64, Bliss, Sagkahan, Tacloban.
38-year old Torrefiel along with his four cohorts, later identified as Nolasco BALINTONG y Arandia, Romeo MOLO y Boniol, Ronaldo CABANTAC y Gahuman, and Emilio MENDANIO y Calda were arrested for possession and control of 41 sachets of suspected shabu, a calibre .9mm pistol with magazine loaded with ammunition, a hand grenade, and two cellular phones believed to have been used in drug transactions of the group.
PSupt Oscar Regala, the Regional Chief of Region 8, said that Torrefiel, is assigned at the CIDG Northern Samar and is included in the CIDG CI Watchlist.
Cases for violations of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) and RA 9516 (Illegal Possession of Explosives) were charged against the suspects, while Torrefiel will also face administrative charges.
The CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan, said earlier that this operation is a proof that the CIDG does not and will not tolerate such malicious acts, especially to its personnel who made fiasco.
“I do not hesitate to lose personnel, if this man damages the image of the whole CIDG and the PNP in general.”, added PCSupt Obusan. xxx
CIDG SEIZES DRUGS AND GUNS; CG FINANCIER ARRESTED

Three Search Warrants (SWs) were implemented by the detectives of CIDG Pangasinan, joined by the PPSC SWAT, PPSC Alaminos City, and Lingayen MPS, against the "Castillo Group", yesterday (July 7, 2016), at about 4:30 PM in Lingayen, Pangasinan, announced CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan.
The raiding team served the said SWs in the premises of Arnold Castillo, the leader of the Criminal Group; Roberto REYES, a member and financier of the group; and Jefferson Gadiano, member. Castillo and Gadiano were not around during the operation, however, they were able to seize eight sachets of suspected shabu weighing MOL 40 g with amounting to Php200,000.00, another 9 sachets containing undetermined amount of shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, one calibre .38 revolver (disassembled), several ammunition, and a calibre .38 revolver.
Meanwhile, Reyes, the CG's financier, was arrested for possession and control of seven sachets of suspected shabu, one small block of marijuana, and assorted drug paraphernalia.
PSSupt Angeles Genorga, the Regional Chief of CIDG Region 1, said that the "Castillo Group" is involved in the illegal drugs trade activities in Lingayen, Pangasinan.
A case for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) were filed against Castillo and Reyes, while a case for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) was filed against Castillo and Gadiano. The CIDG is now tracing the whereabouts of the at-large suspects. xxx
MT. PROVINCE'S MWP AND CAPIZ'S DRUG PERSONALITY ARRESTED BY CIDG

Earlier today (10:30 AM of July 8, 2016), joint elements of the CIDG Mt. Province, CIDG Nueva Vizvcaya, PIB Mt. Province, and Quezon MPS, collared a certain Moses BUMAKIL on the strength of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) in Ronron Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya.
During the police operation, the authorities were able to seize a hand grenade from Bumakil's possession and control.
PSSupt Froilan Perez, Regional Chief, said to CIDG Acting Director, PCSupt Roel B. Obusan that the arrested person is wanted for Theft and is listed as the No. 9 Municipal Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) in

Meanwhile, a man who is listed as the No. 5 in the Drug Watchlist of Tapaz, Capiz was captured yesterday (July 7, 2016), at around 2:50 PM, by the detectives of CIDG Capiz, together with the PSC RPSB-6 in Hermano Subd., Brgy Punta Tabuc, Roxas City, Capiz.
The Regional Chief of CIDG Region 6, PSupt Christopher Acop, identified the suspect as one Rodolfo BARNIZO, who is wanted for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act).

At around 3:45 PM of July 4, 2016 (Monday), joint elements of the CIDG Pangasinan, Alaminos CPS, Binmaley PS, Mabini PS, and PIIB Pangasinan, arrested one David ABINO y Melendez in Brgy. Nibaliw, Mabini, Pangasinan, by virtue of an Alias Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act).
PSSupt Angeles Genorga, Regional Chief, said that Abino is listed as the No. 5 MWP and No. 1 Drug Personality Target in Binmaley, Pangasinan.
While at about 7:15 PM of same date, same CIDG operatives, together with the Binmaley PS, Lingayen PS, RSOTG, and PIB Pangasinan PPO, served an Alias WOA against Chris MATUDIO y Dela Cruz that resulted in his arrest in Burgos St., Brgy. Poblacion, Lingayen, Pangasinan.
Matudio is wanted for Murder and is tagged as the No. 2 MWP and Drug Personality Target in Lingayen, Pangasinan, added the Regional Chief.
Meanwhile, in Brgy. Holy Spirit, Quezon City, members of the CIDG Cagayan, Aparri CIDG, and CIDU QCPD, nabbed 41-year old Allan CORPUZ y Casilana in a manhunt operation at 7:00 AM of July 5, 2016 (Tuesday).
Corpuz was apprehended on the strength of a WOA for the crime of Frustrated Murder.
