Agent from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group arrested a wanted person for ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF EXPLOSIVES on October 27, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Purok 5, Brgy. Crossing Sta. Clara, Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay Province.

PBGEN LEE identified the arrested person as RICHARD GALLENER VIDAL, 39 years old, single, a resident of Brgy. Crossing Sta. Clara, Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay, and a member of the JAIM ROBBERY GROUP, which has been active in carnapping, robbery, and gun for hire since 2018.

The operatives of CIDG Zamboanga Sibugay, as the lead unit, together with other law enforcement units, served the warrant of arrest of the aforementioned suspect, issued by Hon. Anthony D.T. Isaw, Presiding Judge, Branch 24, 9th Judicial Region, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, dated October 3, 2022, with NO BAIL recommended.

The arrested person was appraised of his constitutional rights both Miranda and Anti Torture Warning in dialect he fully understood, further, the arrested person was brought to CIDG Zamboanga Sibugay PFU for documentation and proper disposition.

"The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group will continue to suppress and hold accountable those criminals who have violated our laws to eliminate fear in our country." PBGEN LEE added.

Criminal Investigation and Detection Group apprehended No.1 Most Wanted Person Regional Level RHPU 12 for the crime of CARNAPPING on Thursday, October 27, 2022.

PBGEN LEE identified the arrested person as JEHAR SIYA, a.k.a. JR SIYA, a known supporter of the BIFF Karialan Faction under the Sautin-Kautin Sanday Group.

CIDG Maguindanao Provincial Field Unit, along with other law enforcement groups, conducted a police operation that resulted in the arrest of the above-mentioned suspect by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Gerardo Braganza, Presiding Judge, 12th Judicial Region, RTC Branch 42, Koronadal City, dated July 2, 2020, and three (3) unidentified male assailants (KIA) at Brgy. Midcunding, GSKP, Maguindanao at about 2:00AM.

"Upon reaching the safe house of the subject, the operating troops were fired, prompting the troops to seek cover and return fire.When the firefight stopped, the operating team then saw three males who sustained gunshot wounds during the exchange of fire and were immediately evacuated to Sultan Kudarat Provincial Hospital for medical attention but were pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician" PBGEN LEE said.

The operatives were able to confiscate pieces of evidence from the proximity of the three wounded assailants:
a. 0ne (1) pc. Caliber .45 pistol;
b. Two (2) pcs. magazine;
c. Thirteen (13) pcs. live ammunitions;
d. One (1) pc. M1 Carbine Rifle;
e. One (1) pc. magazine for M1 carbine rifle;
f. Twenty-eight (28) pcs. of live ammunitions of M1 carbine rifle; and
g. One (1) pc. Hand Grenade.

"The CIDG will continue to seek the truth and hold accountable those who are guilty of the law, especially these criminal groups that are destroying the peace of our country." CIDG Acting Director PBGEN Lee added.

Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in its continuous hunt for wanted persons were able to apprehend a supposed business partner on September 12, 2022, at about 04:30 PM at Brgy. Bangkal, Makati City.

CIDG Baguio Field Unit, along with other operating units, arrested SANTOS MEDINA MAPALO by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for the case of Estafa, issued by Hon. Emmanuel Cacho Rasing, Presiding Judge, RTC, FJR, BR 3, Baguio City, dated November 7, 2018, docketed under Criminal Case No. 41957-R with bail bond recommended.

The complaint traces back between November 2017 and March 2018, when the above accused convinced and deceived the complainant to join his local business partnership in the Philippine Communities Clean Energy Solutions Co. by pretending to have authority to do business/transactions and showing a US Federal Treasury Check worth 17.5 billion US Dollars as proof. The said business is intended to operate, develop, and generate electricity.

Accordingly, the complainant gave the accused a total of PHP4,060,000.00, which was meant for the business but never materialized.

The arrested wanted person is now under the custody of CIDG Rizal PFU for documentation prior to the return of the warrant to the issuing court.

The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group launched a simultaneous Oplan Pagtugis in line with its campaign against wanted persons today, October 24, 2022.

Reports provided that operatives of CIDG BATANGAS, together with the PNP SAF Rapid Deployment Battalion, arrested JOHN LESTER P GADO, a.k.a Tito JanJan, at Barangay Piña, Taysan, Batangas, by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for the crime of RAPE THROUGH SEXUAL ASSAULT. This was issued by Hon. Rose Marie J Manalang-Austria, Executive Judge, RTC, Branch 87, Rosario, Batangas, on October 12, 2022, with Php 200,000.00 recommended bail.

The Batangas Provincial Office listed JOHN LESTER P GADO as Rank Number 3 Most Wanted Person in the provincial level.

In CIDG Cavite, detectives conducted police operation that resulted to the arrest of JONATHAN L NOLASCO, in Brgy. Burol Main, Dasmariñas City, Cavite, after Hon. Helen B Constantino-Balbuena, Presiding Judge RTC Br 90, Dasmariñas City, Cavite, issued a Warrant of Arrest for Violation of RA 8353, Rape through Sexual Assault, dated September 12, 2022 with No bail recommended.

In a separate operation, CIDG South Cotabato field unit apprehended ARNEL A BINAS, in Banga Municipal Police Station Custodial facility, South Cotabato, for the crime of RAPE, with No bail Recommended issued by Hon. Felix F. Mesa, Presiding, Presiding Judge of RTC Eleventh Judicial Region Branch 26, Surallah South Cotabato dated September 21, 2022.

Verified reports provides that the arrested accused is listed as a Most wanted person in Banga Municipal Police Station and is the leader of NUNOY GROUP (Newly Identified Criminal Group) which is involved in some rape incidents in the Municipality of Banga South Cotabato and nearby Municipalities, victimizing innocent women.

In another operation, detectives of CIDG Occidental Mindoro arrested ADRIAN C SEQUIJOR, a 17-year-old minor, at Purok 6b, Brgy. San Roque, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Statutory Rape. This was issued by Hon. Ulysses Deloso Delgado, Acting Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 46, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, dated September 28, 2022, with no bail recommended.

Whereas, detectives of CIDG MANILA field unit, conducted police operation which resulted to the arrest of BERNARD M POSADAS, rank as no. 8 Most Wanted Person in the province of cavite, by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of ACTS OF LASCIVIOUSNESS UNDER ART 336 OF THE RPC IN REL TO SECTION 5(B) OF RA 7610, issued by Hon. Niven Redillas Canlapan, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 109, Carmona, Cavite dated September 29, 2022 with Php180,000.00 bail recommended.

Arrested suspects were apprised of their rights upon arrest and brought to their respective arresting CIDG Units for proper disposition.

CIDG Director, PBGen Ronald O Lee, gives assurance that under his watch, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group is exerting all efforts to apprehend all criminals who are wanted for heinous crimes, trying to elude arrest.
