On Thursday, August 2, 2018, four (4) alleged criminal gang members identified as APRIL MAE SACATRAPOS, LAURO MATILLANO JR y CALUBAQUIB, FELIX BULUSAN y ANDRES and ANGELITA ENRIQUEZ y BALAJADIA, all are wanted for the crime of Qualified Theft, were collared in separate manhunt operations launched by the CIDG detectives.

21-year-old Sacatrapos who was arrested at around 8:38 AM in Brgy. Tupax, Jones, Isabela by the CIDG CFU-Santiago together with the Jones Municipal Police Station (MPS), is allegedly the leader of the “Sacatrapos Criminal Group”, a newly identified criminal group involved in theft cases while employed as house helpers, said PSSupt Ronald Gayo, Regional Chief, CIDG RFU 2 to CIDG Director, PDir Roel B Obusan.

While, Matillano and Bulusan who are the alleged members of the “Cabaluan Group” engaged in Theft and Swindling activities in the 1st District of Ilocos Norte, were nabbed at about 4:30 PM in Brgy. 16, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte by joint elements of the CIDG RFU 1 based in Ilocos Norte under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSSupt Rommel Ochave and Laoag Police Station (PS).

Meanwhile, Enriquez who is the alleged leader of the “Cua-Enriquez Criminal Gang” was apprehended by detectives of the CIDG CFU-Olongapo City led by PSupt Christopher Abrahano, the Regional Chief of the CIDG RFU 3, at about 12:45 PM in Brgy. Sta. Rita, Olongapo City, Zambales.

In other news, a man who is wanted for Rape was arrested by combined elements of the CIDG PFU-Benguet, La Trinidad MPS and PIB Benguet on Thursday afternoon (August 2, 2018 at 12:30 PM) in Km 5, La Trinidad, Benguet.

PSupt Cesar Paday-os, Regional Chief, CIDG RFU CAR said to PDir Obusan that the suspect was identified as JIMSON AKIN y BUGTONG who is listed as the No. 4 Provincial Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Benguet Province. ###
