A 49-year-old teacher was arrested by combined elements of the Ilocos Sur PFU and Baguio CFU, both of CIDG, 103rd MARPSTA, Cabanatuan CPS, PIB Ilocos Sur, and CMFC BCPO on Tuesday evening (March 2, 2020 at 9:30 PM) in Abanao St., Baguio City.

The Regional Chief of CIDG RFU 1, PCOL SANTIAGO PASCUAL III identified the suspect in his report to PMGEN JOEL NAPOLEON M CORNEL, CIDG Director, as MELVIN JOSE ALAMAG y BISQUERA, who was apprehended by virtue of a WOA for Illegal Recruitment involving Economic Sabotage issued by Hon. Trese D. Wenceslao, Acting Presiding Judge, Third Judicial Region, RTC Br 25 Cabanatuan City.

Alamag is the alleged leader of the “Alamag Group” involved in Illegal Recruitment in Nueva Ecija province and is now under the custody of the CIDG Ilocos Sur PFU for proper disposition. ###
