During a weekend manhunt operation, a graphic artist and a construction worker tagged as Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) were arrested by the CIDG in Makati and Ilocos Sur. 

The suspects were identified as REX CABALLERO y DERECHO, a 26-year-old graphic artist and EDMUND ULPINDO y GALDONES, a 41-year-old construction worker, who rank as the No. 3 Station Level MWP in Jaro, Iloilo City and No. 7 Municipal Level MWP in Tagudin, Ilocos Sur, respectively. 

CABALLERO was collared by combined elements of CIDG RFU NCR and CIDG Iloilo PFU on March 13, 2021 (Saturday) at about 9:00 PM along Amorsolo St., Corner Ayala, Makati, City on the strength of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for RAPE issued by Hon. Gloria Madero, Executive Judge of RTC CJRQ AVANCEÑA, Hall of Justice, Iloilo City.

Meanwhile, ULPINDO was apprehended by joint elements of CIDG Ilocos Sur PFU, 1st PMFC, Maritime Ilocos Sur, and Tagudin MPS March 14, 2021 (Sunday) at around 2:40 PM in Poblacion, San Juan, Ilocos Sur by virtue of a WOA for violation of RA 7610 (Anti-Child Abuse Law) issued by Hon. Emmylou Valois Rubang-Mangasar, Acting Presiding Judge of 1st Judicial Region, RTC Branch 25, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur.
