Three (3) Rape suspects and one (1) for Murder from Quirino, Cebu City, Eastern Samar, and Davao de Oro were arrested by CIDG detectives in separate operations and in collaboration with other PNP operatives.

On August 05, 2021 in Post 4 Brgy. Napnapan, Pantukan, Davao de Oro, CIDG RFU 11 arrested VICTORIANO CASTILLO MABINUNGCAL JR. by virtue of an Alias Order of Arrest for Murder under CC# 1391-12 issued by Hon Emilio G. Dayanghirang, Judge of RTC 11th Judicial Region Branch 32, Lupon, Davao Oriental dated September 21, 2012.

Meanwhile, EDWIN MARCELO y BOQUING was arrested by CIDG Quirino PFU, Cabarroguis MPS, and QPPO PIU on the strength of Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for the crime of Rape docketed under CC# 4072-2021 issued by Hon Remalie C Corbe-Cardenas, Presiding Judge of RTC, Branch 32, Cabarroguis, Quirino dated June 10, 2021.

On an earlier date (August 4, 2021), two (2) wanted persons named as FALCONDO TABURA y CADAY and MARTY HIBO y CANTONG were also arrested in Peace Valley Homes, Bulacao, Pardo, Cebu City by CIDG Cebu City Field Unit, CMFC-CCPO, HPG7, RIU7, and STATION 7- CCP and in Brgy. Campesao, Borongan City, Eastern Samar by the detectives of CIDG Eastern Samar PFU along with PIU ESPPPO, HPG ES, and Borongan CPS, respectively.

TABURA is wanted for violation of RA 8353 with CC# R-CEB-21-02437-CR issued by Hon Leah Iligan Geraldez, Presiding Judge of RTC 7, Branch 20, Cebu City dated July 22, 2021, while HIBO is by virtue of Alias WOA dated July 13, 2021 issued by Hon. Elvie Picardo Lim, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 1, Borongan City, Eastern Samar docketed under CC# 14003, also for the crime of Rape.

Furthermore, MARCELO is ranked No. 10 Provincial Level Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Quirino Province, TABURA is listed Top 9 Regional Level MWP in Region 7 while, HIBO is the alleged leader of “Tira-Tumba Group.”
