3 August 2021- Through the continuous efforts of CIDG with other police operatives, another three suspects were arrested in different manhunt operations in Manila, Bacolod City, and Zamboanga del Sur.

The Top 3 MWP of Baseco Police Station (PS-13), MPD was arrested by the detectives of CIDG-DSOU with Warrant and Intelligence operatives of Baseco Police Station (PS-13), MPD by virtue of Warrant of Arrest dated June 8, 2021, issued by Hon. RALPH S ARELLANO, Assisting Judge of RTC Branch 132, Naic, Cavite, for the crime of Robbery with Homicide under Criminal Case No.NC-446-21 with NO BAIL recommended.

The suspect was identified as ROSALES MARVIN y MADUGAY, 19 years old who was arrested along Reina Regente St., in front of Lucky Chinatown, Binondo, Manila and brought to Baseco Police Station (PS-3), MPD for documentation and temporary custody.

In Block 1, Lot 30, East Homes 3, Brgy Estefania, Bacolod City, 43-year-old Joeralyn Dela Peña y Polvorosa a.k.a. "MADAM" was arrested by the CIDG Bacolod CFU, BCPO PS2, BCPO PS4, Bacolod MARPSTA, and HPG Negros Occidental.

Dela Peña was arrested by virtue of WOA with CC No. 16-43107 for violation of Sections 5 and 26(B) Art II of RA 9165 issued by Hon. EDUARDO S SAYSON, Presiding Judge of RTC Sixth Judicial Region, Branch 54, Bacolod City dated October 4, 2016, with no bail recommended. He is now under the custody of the CIDG Bacolod CFU office for documentation and proper disposition.

Further, CIDG Zamboanga del Sur PFU and Margosatubig MPS arrested a 30-year-old Jestoni Ebag y Pontanar for the crime of Murder under CC No. 08-099 issued by Hon. EDILBERTO G ABSIN, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur dated October 27, 2008, with no bail bond recommended.

EBAG was arrested in Purok Bougamel, Brgy. Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur and was brought to CIDG ZDS PFU9 for documentation and proper disposition and subsequently turned over to Margosatubig MPS for temporary custody.

Amidst the ongoing heightened restrictions because of COVID-19 delta variant, the CIDG continues its operations to enforce the law and put criminals behind bars. CIDG Director PMGEN ALBERT IGNATIUS D FERRO assures the public that the police operatives observe the minimum health standards and arrest protocols.
