As the CIDG launches another round of its SACLEO, five (5) men including a Most Wanted Person (MWP) were arrested in separate manhunt operations on Tuesday (August 24, 2021) afternoon in Zamboanga Del Sur, Masbate, Antique, and Nueva Ecija.
The suspects were identified as DANILO SACLAGON y GUMAWID a.k.a. “BANTOLINAY,” 30; MICHAEL CANLAS y BANTOLINAY, 28; GEORGE FLORES y OAS, 43; CHRISTOPHER FRANCISCO y LAVEGA, 36; and MARLON HORENA y GALDONES, 39.
SACLAGON and CANLAS were arrested in Brgy. Bag-ong Valencia, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur by operatives of CIDG Zamboanga del Sur PFU and Dumingag MPS by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for the crime of MURDER (RPC Art. 248) docketed under CC No. 2021-10-4242 issued by Hon. Analyn Fernando Ramas-Costanilla, Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.
While FLORES, who is listed as the No. 6 Municipal Level MWP in Mobo, Masbate was arrested in Brgy. Asid, Masbate by detectives of CIDG Masbate PFU, Masbate MARSPTA, Placer MARLET, 1st PMFC MASPPO, RIU 5 (PIT 5 Masbate), 94th SAC, 9th SAB, Masbate CPS, and Mobo MPS for the crime of two (2) counts of RAPE docketed under CC Nos. 20594 and 20591 in the WOA issued by Hon. Ave A. Zurbito-Alba, Presiding Jugde of RTC Br. 48 (Family Court) Masbate City, Masbate.
Meanwhile, elements from CIDG Antique PFU, Laua-an MPS, Antique MARPSTA, and 2nd APMFC served a WOA against FRANCISCO who is currently detained at Laua-an MPS, Antique for the crime of MURDER docketed under CC No. 19-11-1887 issued by Hon. Mario G. Andres Jr., Presiding Judge of 6th Judicial Region, RTC, Branch 64.
And HORENA was arrested by combined elements of CIDG Nueva Ecija and Aurora PFUs in Purok 2, Brgy San Agustin, Guimba, Nueva Ecija on the strength of a WOA for two (2) counts of RAPE issued by Hon. Alejandria B. Javier-Genota, Presiding Judge of Third Judicial Region, Branch 1, Family Court, Baler, Aurora docketed under CC Nos. 2021-01-7101 to 7102.
