Two (2) former members of a notorious criminal group were arrested by the CIDG during the conduct of the Joint Counter-Terrorism Operation on Sunday (September 5, 2021) afternoon in Brgy Poblacion, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay Province.

Operatives from CIDG Zamboanga Sibugay PFU, CIDG Tawi-Tawi, together with the Philippine Army and other PNP units arrested 39-year-old AMMAD TANJING y JALA a.k.a. “Mhads Tanjing y Jala” and 48-year-old MUSSEIN JALA y TANJING a.k.a. “Musin Jalal y Tanjing” by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for the crime of MURDER issued by Hon Josefino P Bael, Presiding Judge of RTC Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 31, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay docketed under CC No. I-4868.

TANJING and JALA are listed as the No. 3 and No. 5 Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Olutanga, Zamboanga Sibugay and said to be former members of the disbanded notorious criminal group known as “CAMSA GROUP” whose leader, identified as Commander CAMSA ASDANAL, a former MILF member was neutralized in a law enforcement operation in Brgy Kaliantana, Naga of the said province in 2011.

“We will go after those lawless elements, remnants or active members of criminal groups, our relentless manhunt operations will continue until they are arrested and jailed,” said PMGEN ALBERT IGTNATIUS D FERRO, CIDG Director.
