On a weekend manhunt operation launched by the operatives of CIDG and other PNP units, three (3) Most Wanted Persons and one (1) other were arrested in Cebu City, Quezon, Laguna, and Manila.

On September 4, 2021 (Saturday), 34-year-old CHRISTOPHER CABANES PABLE a.k.a. "NEGRO" was arrested at about 8:00 AM along White Road, Brgy. Inayawan, Cebu City on the strength of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for MURDER (RPC Art.248) with CC No. R-CEB-21-04927-CR issued by Hon. Ricky Jones Sanchez Macabaya, Presiding Judge of RTC 7, Branch 5, Cebu City.

A 25-year-old man wanted for the crime of RAPE (RA 8353), identified as ANTHONY ESPALLANDO y TABUSO was arrested at about 7:30 PM on the same date in Brgy. Inaclagan, Gumaca, Quezon during the service of WOA issued by Hon. Maria Lourdes C. Gutierrez, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, Branch 173, Gumaca, Quezon under CC No. 16223-G.

On September 5, 2021 (Sunday), MELBIN REYES y LAURO a.k.a. “MELVIN LAURO REYES” was nabbed at around 10:40 AM in Brgy 2, Cabuyao, Laguna by virtue of an Alias WOA for violation of Sec. 16, Art III of RA 6425 (The Dangerous Drug Act of 1972) under CC No. P-883 issued by Hon. Nevic C Adolfo, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 83, Tanauan City, Batangas.

And at about 11:00 AM of the same date, in San Diego St. Sampaloc, Manila, JASON PAMINTUAN y SINDING, 26-years-old apprehended on the strength of a WOA for the crime of ROBBERY (Hold-up) docketed under CC No. 13-298189 issued by Hon. Liwliwa S. Hidalgo-Bucu, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, Branch 34, Manila.

Accordingly, PABLE is tagged as the No. 1 City Level MWP in Cebu City and said to be a member of the "Marvin Group" involved in illegal drug trade, robbery, gunrunning, human trafficking, and prostitution operating in Cebu City and other neighboring cities and municipalities. While, REYES who ranks as the No. 8 Provincial Level MWP in Batangas is allegedly a member of the “Quijano Group” involved in the proliferation of illegal drugs and loose firearms in the said province. Meanwhile, PAMINTUAN is listed as the No. 10 MWP in Manila and an alleged member of the “Batang City Jail Gang”.
