The CIDG marked another milestone towards excellence in the field of detection and investigation of crimes when it transformed its offices into more suitable, safer, and efficient work spaces.

The occasion was highlighted with the blessings of the newly renovated CIDG Regional Field Unit NCR, Anti-Fraud and Commercial Crimes Unit, and its Headquarters' Conference Room officiated by Reverend Father, PBGen Jason Ortizo, the Director of the PNP Chaplain Service, and an awarding of best-performing units of the Group for their excellent performance in the implementation of the CIDG’s Campaign Plans for the 2nd Quarter CY 2021 on September 23, 2021, in Camp Crame with none other than, the Chief PNP himself, PGen GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR gracing the event.

Contributing immensely towards the attainment of the mission and vision of the Group and the PNP in general, the following are the awarded Units represented by their respective Chief of Offices:

- Best Regional Field Unit: CIDG RFU 4A received by PCOL Ramon Pranada, Regional Chief, RFU 4A;
- Best Special Operations Unit: Anti-Fraud and Commercial Crimes Unit received by PLTCOL Crisle Cainong, Chief, AFCCU; and
- Award for Most Number of Significant Accomplishments: Regional Field Unit NCR received by PCOL Rogarth Campo, Regional Chief, RFU NCR.

PMGen Albert Ignatius D Ferro, CIDG Director said in his message that the innovations they have made revitalized the vigor in those spaces and opened up more rooms for improvement in performance and accomplishments.

“These changes best fit the sophisticated and unique mandates we are catering,” he added.

Meanwhile, in his message, CPNP hoped that with the new CIDG offices and its personnel will continuously perform their respective duties more effectively and efficiently.

“I commend the CIDG personnel under the able leadership of Police Major General Albert Ignatius D Ferro. All of you worked hard and set as an exemplar in bringing excellence not only in CIDG but to the Philippine National Police as well,” says the Chief, PNP.

These innovations served as a ceaseless commitment of the CIDG in providing paramount detective and investigative services to its clientele by enhancing the working environment for its personnel.
