In a 2-day manhunt operation launched by the CIDG and local PNP units, four Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) and two others were collared in Zambales, Davao de Oro, Iloilo, Batangas and Tarlac.
“These suspects were arrested by virtue of Warrants of Arrest (WOAs) whose violations or crimes are against women and children,” says PMGen Albert Ignatius D Ferro, CIDG Director.
On October 13, 2021 (Wednesday), LEONARDO DELA CRUZ BANDOLIN a.k.a. “Kuya Jun”, MWP Provincial Level in Zambales was arrested in Subic, Zambales for Statutory Rape (RPC Art. 266-A).
The No. 9 MWP in Iloilo identified as ORLAN JOHN DAGOY LARIOSA was nabbed on the same date in San Miguel, Iloilo. He is wanted for Rape and violation of RA 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), and is said to be the leader of the “Constancia Gang” involved in the exploitation of children and trafficking of women in Iloilo and Bacolod City.
On the same date, JOSHUA GANAP BALAJAMA, the No. 2 MWP Municipal Level was apprehended in Pantukan, Davao De Oro for three counts of Rape and RICHARD ENDAYA LAGAMAYO in Ibaan, Batangas also for the crime of Rape.
On the following day, October 14, 2021, MWP Provincial Level, ALLAN LACANDULA CABRAL was apprehended in Lapaz, Tarlac for the crime of Statutory Rape (RPC Art. 266-A Para (D) and JUSTINE DELA ROSA AGUILAR in Subic, Zambales for Rape (RPC Art. 266-A) in relation to RPC Art. 266-B (1).
Meanwhile, a total of 66 other persons with the warrant for various offenses were also collared by the different CIDG field units.
“Through our anti-criminality campaign against these suspects, we are giving back hope to the victims of such violence, abuse, or exploitation that justice will prevail and violators will be punished,” added CIDG Director.
