A former councilor of Los Baños, Laguna was arrested in Baguio City by operatives of CIDG Batangas together with CIDG Baguio and Laguna police by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder with NO BAIL recommended in the afternoon of November 2, 2021, after week-long surveillance by said operatives.
PMGEN Albert Ignatius D Ferro, CIDG Director, identified the suspect as NORVIN LANTICAN TAMISIN, involved in the killing of Los Baños, Laguna Mayor Caesar Pabalate Perez.
Tamisin was the primary suspect in the death of Mayor Perez, who was shot several times while in the premises of the town’s municipal hall in December 2020. Perez also served as Laguna’s Vice-Governor from 2010 to 2013.
Meanwhile, PMGEN Ferro said that the former councilor is the sixth most wanted person in the entire CALABARZON. The arrested subject is currently under the custody of the CIDG Batangas.
“This battle against crime will ceaselessly continue, we cannot fail our fellow Filipinos, they must not lose faith in the police organization,” added PMGen Ferro.
