Cases for violation RA 10364 and RA 9851 were filed by detectives of CIDG Regional Field Unit 12 against members of the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) on Wednesday (April 27, 2022) afternoon before the Provincial Prosecutors Office in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.

The said cases were filed against the following members of the Guerilla Front 73, West Daguma Command of Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat:

- Felimon Villegas a.k.a. “Yoyo”;
- Manuel Fernandez a.k.a. “Ampog” or “Bobo”;
- Amboy Gumpay Gantangan a.k.a. “Macmac”;
- Joel Gumpay Gantangan a.k.a. “Vic”;
- Jorge Insel Pugong a.k.a. “Lowe”;
- Alias Claire;
- Alias Teyoy;
- Alias Kustan;
- Alias Rocky; and
- Allias Karding.

22-year-old Juniel Bantal a.k.a. “Daloydoy” revealed in his statement that it was on September 15, 2016 when he was just 17 years old when the said CTG members recruited him in Sito New Datal, Brgy Daguma, Monteverde, Sultan Kudarat. He was encouraged to join with a promise of having a monthly salary and by helping him to reclaim their land.

The said CIDG unit now awaits for release of the docket numbers on May 2, 2022 from the court.

The CIDG sustains its efforts against individuals or groups involved in atrocities and deviant ideologies to support the government’s programs to stop the recruitment of minors by CTG and use them to fight for false endeavors.
