A 56-year-old widow was rearrested by the CIDG Anti-Transnational Crime Unit (ATCU) during its manhunt operation on Friday afternoon (September 7, 2018 at 3:30 PM) at the Manila City Jail Female Dormitory, Quezon Blvd., Sta. Cruz, Manila.

In his report to PDir Roel B. Obusan, CIDG Director, PSupt Roque Merdegia, Chief of the ATCU said that the arrested person is YVETTE VALDEZ y TAYTAY who was nabbed for the crime of violation of RA 8042 (Migrant Workers Act of 1995) as amended by RA 10022 (Illegal Recruitment) under the Warrant of Arrest (WOA) issued by Hon Presiding Judge Marlo Magdoza-Malagar of RTC Br. 19, Manila.

Valdez was previously arrested by the same operating unit sometime on July 2018 at Camp BGen. Rafael Crame, Quezon City for Illegal Recruitment and Estafa, added PSupt Merdegia.

In other news, three (3) caliber .45 pistols, two (2) caliber .38 revolvers, a magazine and several ammunition were seized from the possession of VICENTE SINGCOLAN MORAL during the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW) by the CIDG RFU 7 based in Cebu under the direct supervision of its Regional Chief, PSupt Lito Patay, together with the Danao City Police Station (CPS) in the early morning of September 8, 2018 (5:00 AM of Saturday) in Brgy. Dunggoan, Danao City, Cebu.

Moral will be charged for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Law).

On the same day (September 8, 2018), at about 11:00 AM, a man who is listed as the No. 10 Most Wanted Person (MWP) in San Pablo City, Laguna identified as MICHAEL TALAVERA y BOALOY was apprehended by joint elements of the CIDG PFU Laguna led by PSupt Lawrence Cajipe, Regional Chief, CIDG RFU 4A and San Pablo CPS by virtue of a WOA for Frustrated Homicide.###
