A 24-year-old man tagged as the National Most Wanted Person (MWP) was nabbed by the CIDG Western Metro Manila and PNP-AFP Joint Task Force NCR on Wednesday morning (December 12, 2018 at 9:00 AM).
The suspect was identified by PSUPT ARNOLD THOMAS IBAY, Regional Chief of the CIDG RFU NCR as JOMAR LABAY a.k.a. “Jumar Ibrahim” who was arrested along Phase 9, Pocket 7A, Brgy. 176, Bagong Silang, Caloocan City by virtue of six (6) Warrants of Arrest (WOAs) for Kidnapping and Serious Illegal Detention with Murder, all issued by Hon. Lacsaman Busran, Presiding Judge of RTC 12, Br. 11, Malabang, Lanao Del Sur.
In his submitted report to CIDG Acting Director, PCSUPT AMADOR V CORPUS, PSUPT IBAY said that Labay has a reward of Php600,000.00 under the DND-DILG Joint Order on Reward.
Meanwhile, two (2) Brgy. Officials of Caniogan, Pasig City were apprehended during the implementation of a Search Warrant (SW) by detectives of the CIDG Eastern Metro Manila DFU together with the Eastern Police District on the same date at around 7:28 AM in Melendres Compound, Pag-asa St., in the said Brgy.
The arrested Brgy. Officials were named as JULIUS PANIS y ARABIRAN and PAUL PANIS y MELENDRES who were collared for possession of 2 caliber .38 revolvers, a caliber .38 reloader, a rifle propelled grenade, caliber .22 rifle with scope and suppressor, hand grenade, a grenade type tear gas and 15 rounds of ammunition.
Both Brgy. Officials are facing charges for violations of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Law) and RA 9516 (Illegal Possession of Explosives). ###
