September 1, 2002 - Following the directive of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr for the conduct of investigation on the alleged forgery of his (PBBM) signature and counterfeiting of the government seal on the supposed appointment of Abraham Espejo as the new Commissioner of the Bureau of Immigration, the CIDG was able to make a breakthrough in identifying personalities that may shed light about the said allegation.

With the ongoing investigation, we seek the cooperation and full support of those who were initially identified to uncover the truth through the information that they will be providing. Likewise, all pieces of information will be subject to further evaluation and validation.

"Our appeal continues for those who may have information about the said incident.
