Members of the CIDG Regional Field Unit 6 along with local PNP units and the Philippine Army have implemented two (2) Search Warrants (SWs) against CTG members, Friday morning (September 2, 2022 at 11:30 AM) in Brgy Sibaguan, Roxas City, Capiz.
The said SWs both issued by Hon. Esperanza Isabela E Poco-Deslate, the Executive Judge of RTC Branch 19, Roxas City, Capiz dated September 1, 2022, were served against Lenilyn Custorio Jaynos a.k.a. “Sandra” or “Elizabeth”, a 45-year-old NGO worker who is a member of Regional Finance KR-Panay; Cirila Cordon Estrada a.k.a. “Sheila Gonzales” or “Cora”, a member of the Regional Organizing Department (ROD), KR- Panay; and Marivie Bartolome Arguelles, a Community Organizer and Influencer in Capiz province.
Estrada and Arguelles were not around during the police operation however, authorities arrested Jaynos and were able to seize the following pieces of evidence:
- Two (2) caliber .45 pistols;
- Two (2) magazine assemblies for caliber .45;
- Eighty-two (82) rounds of ammunition for caliber .45;
- Two (2) hand fragmentation grenades;
- One (1) plastic box for hand grenade;
- Two (2) sling bags;
- Two (2) Identification Cards;
- One (1) "Gabriella" flag colored violet; and
- Two (2) "Gabriella" tarpaulins.
At noon yesterday, September 5, 2022, the suspect was subjected to inquest proceedings for Violation of RA 9516 and NPS Docket No. VI-16-INQ-22I-00099 for Violation of RA 10591 before the Office of Provincial Prosecutor, Roxas City, Capiz, administered and subscribed by Hon. Randy V Billanes, Assistant City Prosecutor.
