Following the strategic direction of the Chief PNP in the execution of the program thrusts to improve crime solution efficiency that will redound to achieving the objectives of the KAAYUSAN program, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group features its accomplishments after a One Time Big Time (OTBT) implementation of warrant of arrest on August 30, 2022.


The CIDG was able to implement a total of 229 warrants of arrest (WOAs) served in its nationwide operation, with 212 total arrested wanted persons, 26 of whom are already in custodial facilities.

Notable in this one-day operation were the arrests of six (6) Most Wanted Persons (MWP) at the Regional Level, wherein two of the arrested suspects are identified as Juliet Campus Handayan, 34, tagged as No. 2 MWP in Region 8, for violation of RA 8203 Special Law on Counterfeiting Drugs, and Region 3's No. 5 MWP Edward Gomez Salonga, 30 for the crime of 3 counts of Qualified Rape.

Moreover, among the six (6) most wanted persons arrested at the provincial level is Tomas Apostol Lumanan, 50 from Valencia City, Bukidnon, listed as Top 1 MWP of CIDG Bukidnon Field Unit and likewise ranked as Top 6 MWP of Bukidnon Police Provincial Office for the crime of Rape.

Lastly, operatives of CIDG were able to successfully apprehend 174 other wanted persons within the municipal/city level who have an existing warrant of arrest and are being held with the respective arresting CIDG Units.

With such accomplishment in the operation of the OTBT Implementation of Warrant of Arrest, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, under the leadership of PBGen Ronald O Lee, remains steadfast in its commitment to deliver quality police service to the community through one of its priority thrusts Oplan "Pagtugis" in achieving a beautiful life and secured community through shared responsibility.
